The Bitcoin Network releases a new block reward about every 10 minutes (currently 3.125 BTC). Miners must guess the correct solution to the puzzle.

Big industrial mining farms run trillions of guesses per second. The 144 Miner runs approximately 1 million guesses per second. Smaller compared to industrial farms, but it is still part of the race.

The odds

The Bitcoin network is so large, that the odds of a small miner hitting a block are extremely low, but never 0%.
